The Macao SAR announced the results of the bidding on February 8, 2002, and the concession was awarded to Sociedade de Jogos de Macau ("SJM"), a subsidiary of STDM, Galaxy Casino, S.A. ("Galaxy"), and Wynn Resorts (Macao) S.A. ("Wynn"). Concession contracts for the operation of casino games of chance were signed on March 28, April 24, and June 26, respectively.
